ITO focuses on clients in the Offshore financial services sector and the various Small-Medium Businesses and Enterprise Clients in the region and is able to offer best-of-breed solutions for each. Due to continued expansion, we invite applications for the position of Technical Specialist.
Core responsibilities for the Technical Specialist is to provide 1st/ 2nd line technical support to our clients and will be expected to work exclusively on the Service Desk: Salary will be between USD$40,000 – USD$70,000 per annum with associated benefits.
Essential: Minimum ten+ (10+) years’ experience working with Microsoft, VMware, Symantec and Veeam networking technologies.
Essential: Experience of MS Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange 2013/2016 with a current Microsoft MCSA certification (2016)
Essential: CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional certification.
Essential: Experience of supporting MS Windows 2012/2016 Server and Windows 7/10 Pro.
Essential: Experience of Veeam Backup and Symantec Anti-Virus Products.
Essential: Consumer awareness and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels.
Essential: Good communication skills and experience in the delivery of IT Support.
Desirable: Computer Science or IT related Degree.
Desirable: Cisco CCNA Certification and experience of installing Cisco switches and routers.
Desirable: Previous experience of working for a small Consultancy firm or Value Added Reseller.
